How long can I rent my unit at Shurgard Self-Storage?

We know that you can’t always predict how long you’ll want your unit for.

Maybe your new home will become available sooner than you thought or your redecorating project will drag on for longer. That’s why our rental periods are completely flexible.

How long you rent your unit for is up to you.

And our promotion offering the first month for €1 doesn’t even require a minimum stay – unlike some of our competitors.

Short-term rentals

You can rent with us for as short as 1 week.
You don’t have to tell us in advance how long you plan to rent the unit for.
Our rental contracts are month-to-month agreements and have a 2-week notice period.
If you want to rent a unit for less than 15 days, just let the manager at your Shurgard location know when you move in.

Long-term rentals

Long-term rents are ideal if you’re travelling or moving abroad for several years or need long-term storage for office archives or equipment.

If you’re looking for a long-term solution, Shurgard can offer that too.
It's a good idea for long-term rental to set up a direct debit or pay in advance so you don’t have to worry about it. You can arrange either of these with the on-site manager.
