Reservation policy

The rental rate and unit category are guaranteed during the entire reservation period until the move-in date. You can request to change your move-in date up to 1 year after the initial reservation date.

Promotions and specific units are not guaranteed.

Any move-in is subject to signing a storage contract whereby you adhere to Shurgard's general terms and conditions. 

When signing your storage contract, please bring along a valid photo ID in the form of a passport, ID card or driving licence. If your ID has no photo, we will also require a copy of a utility/phone bill with your current name and address on it. In case you represent a company please also provide us with evidence of the link between yourself and the company. You can provide a company business card stating your name and your function or a copy of your company's by-laws / extract from the Companies House. It is also possible to bring along a power of attorney from a director of your company.

On the move-in date you will be required to:

• Purchase your own and unique secure cylinder lock.
• Pay a one-off registration fee (only for new customers).
• Insure your goods whilst in storage. To facilitate this, Shurgard offers you, through its insurance broker Marsh, tailor made customer goods insurance.

Shurgard reserves the right to cancel your reservation due to circumstances beyond its control.
